The twelve foot High Jump is an upper mid-range trampoline,
and sold very successfully in the UK from about the year
2004 until 2008 (there is also a 14ft version). Although the 12ft High Jump is designed to
be left outside for many years, there will come a time when
your trampoline may require some attention. At this point,
you may simply wish to buy a new one, however many trampoline
owners have found they can extend the useful life of their
trampoline by replacing only those parts that need
attention. This often makes good economic sense. We

The High Jump
pads are good quality trampoline pads, however may need
replacing after many years of use. Replacing worn pads not only improves safety, but also improves the overall look of the trampoline.

One of the most common causes of damage to outdoor trampoline beds
is caused by having a bonfire right next to the trampoline
- burning embers that fall back to the ground can cause
burn-holes in the bed. When the fibers in a trampoline bed
become compromised, you do need to intervene to try to stop
a hole turning into a tear, since tears can propogate quickly,
making the trampoline possibly a danger to your children.

Identify
Your 12ft High Jump Trampoline
If your trampoline is branded JumpKing and has green pads
as shown in the image above, is 12ft in diameter (overall
diameter of frame) and has 80 springs (each 8.5" long),
and was purchased in the years 2004-2008, then your trampoline
is the 12 foot JumpKing High Jump. To measure the spring
size, take a spring off your trampoline (so you are measuring
the untensioned length), and measure the full length (ie
from hook to hook). |
